KoFight Minecraft Server MegaBuild- Golf Course (Clubhouse and First 2 Pins)
This photoset contains the beginning of KoFight Server’s Golf Course. If you are interested in building your own golf course, when I am finished laying in the front 9, I will publish a route map . Golf, in Minecraft can be played in a few ways- There is a plugin that you can use to actually create a golf ball and a golf club, but on a vanilla (as in, non-modded) server, you can and should play it with a bow and an arrow.
On the server, we began the megabuild by creating a three-story tall clubhouse, using a “new style" of architecture (actually, the aesthetic of the architecture is evolving to the best standards of building, and the clubhouse may represent a transition from the “old school" style of straight lines and blocky, Volvo-like construction to a more, aesthetically interesting style). The clubhouse includes a Member’s only bar upstairs and a private meeting room/reading room in the attic with a nice view of the sea through a dormer.
The course then proceeds out the back door of the Clubhouse, to a putting green and to Hole 1, a nice dogleg left Par 4 with a little elevation, a little sand, and a LOT of trees. Hole 2 is just off to the left of Pin 1, and is a touch Par 3 straight up a mountain (a few layup spots are built in, but the challenge of hitting par is therefore almost insurmountable without at least an expert tee-off.) Then just up from Pin 2 is the tee-box for Hole 3, which will (when built) go over to another level area on the top of the mountain and then straight down the cliff into the desert. Eventually, the course will come back around a massive mountain and Pin 9 will be right next to the putting Green.
