I will appear at the Atlantic technologies in Education Forum in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday. I am what seems to play a really interesting Panel on the roll teachers participate in game-based learning. My Panel begins at 10:25.
It looks like you will be able to see them live here.
Some other nice things recently. MineShift/KQED recently an article about MinecraftEdu, which was great. Many really nice quotes, as follows:
Although Cóias was willing to pay school for the game, he says, that he would be in any case. "In hindsight I it would have paid out of pocket if I needed," he said. "It's so good."
Also fun... my work was speaking recently on CBC, Canadian broadcasting.
This has a special personal meaning for me... Although I am from New York City, I spent much time in Nova Scotia, Canada grew up. The CBC has always been and it really is my idea of a perfect radio station. So glad to have achieved this special Canadia ether!
