It began with a cryptic tweet from @Dinnerbone that read "I have looked into the future, and it smells of jam." 3 hours later, he followed up with another tweet that explained that the second annual Mojam takes place tomorrow!
Mojam is a marathon coding event where you get to vote on what kind of game Mojang will create and can watch a livestream of the coding process to see a game designed from start to finish. Proceeds generated during the event go to charity, and all donators recieve a copy of the finished game as well as development builds released during the event.
This year there will be challenges organized by Mojang's own director of fun, Lydia Winters and donations above the average contribution will get you entry into exclusive raffles! Mojang will be splitting into teams during the event, and joining them will be 6 other developers including last years collaborators OxEye and Wolfire!
Head on over to Mojang.com and get in on the poll for what this years creation will be! Will you vote on Swashbuckling Kittens? Dating Pterodactyls? Candy Wars? Nuclear Stone Age? A time limit hasn't been set for voting so get over there while the gettins' good folks.
The actual event begins tomorrow, February 20th at 6pm CEST and lasts until midnight Saturday, February 23rd. We will update later with the livestream address when it's posted!
